Best Months
If you’re not in a hurry to buy a car, you should wait a bit. In certain months like October and December, dealers usually offer better deals. December is likely to have the best prices, but stock is likely to be limited. The months with the most discounts are October, November, and December. This is when dealerships are clearing the old stock for the new year. If you’re not shopping in these months, check May, June, July, August, and September. There are small sales held during the summer. You’ll see more around the special holidays.
Late winter and early spring months like January, February, March, and April are the least likely to have sales deals. New stock arrives during this time, and demand is low.
End of The Month
Salespeople earn commission and need to meet their quotas. If they’re short, they’ll be interested in making a deal to push sales. Discounts and incentives will be on the table for you.

Fewer people are car shopping on Mondays or Tuesdays. So, salespeople are more interested in trying to sell you a car. They’ll give you time, show you the options, answer your questions, and transactions will go smoother as well.

Do your research and test drives before the holidays and three day weekends. Then start the deal on the weekend and close it on the following Monday.
